A return client asked us to build them a new walkway from their deck to their carport. They wanted it to be built with pavers, so we built a cinderblock retaining wall to create a flat area extended out from the house for the pavers to sit.

We excavated for our footing, poured a concrete foundation, installed a cinderblock wall with horizontal and vertical rebar reinforcement, installed a drain behind the wall, filled the wall with concrete, then backfilled with baserock and sand to create a level surface for the pavers. We also built matching ipe handrails to match their deck.
